1. You don't have any sky, so black thing is actually nothing. To fix that, you should add skysphere.
2. I don't think you want to do this by yourself, so you have to create a new level by file->new level
3. In appeared window choose template with chairs and sky, not the empty one
4. Done. You can add whatever you want
