Потому что для условного гражданина США и компании США (выше про Алабаму) люди конкурируют за рабочие места с locals. Т.е. с носителями языка, культуры и знаний. И чтобы компания взяла на себя гемор в виде головняка с миграционным бюро, переездом и прочим вы должны быть либо на порядок дешевле либо на порядок умнее. И спросил я чтобы провести аналогию.

Да все верно. Видно что не один собес провел. Правильный ответ - "У меня на работе все окей. Я все делаю. Я классный. Меня ценят. Просто оцениваю потенциал других компаний" - суть такая.

You may have seen that we announced a further £300m Series C funding round last week, and this has caused things to be a little hectic in the aftermath. Super exciting, of course! But bad timing as far as the end of your process has been concerned.  I'm afraid to say that, having managed to properly catch up with our interviewers this morning, we aren't able to move forward to the final stage with you from here. From what I understand, it sounds like your pairing session was quite a struggle. The team were keen to keep in mind that your experience with Swift is limited, but there were deeper technical concerns even given that. It appeared that you understanding of things such as JSON parsing, URLSession and NSString was surprisingly limited. Away from the tech side of things, there were also concerns on the culture fit aspects too. I was told that you didn't seem especially interested in the crypto space, and the impression was that there would be no real reason for you to prefer Blockchain.com over other companies that you're interviewing for.  Overall, the conclusion is that - though you will no doubt find a brilliant next move, and will achieve huge things - this just isn't quite the right place for you.  This is a huge shame, and I'm really sorry to be breaking bad news to you. A lot of the team's concerns stemmed from the technical aspects. On your tech session, I was told that there were a number of small issues that added up to cause the interviewer some doubts. Heavy usage of var properties, as well as a lack of consistent architecture and including a DataProvider in UIViewController, were all not ideal parts of your solution. On the culture fit side, there seemed to be agreement between interviewers that your interest in Blockchain.com and the crypto world was pretty light, and you didn't appear to be someone who would be joining us because of your passion for what we are building.  Sadly, therefore, I'm disappointed to have to say that we won't be moving forward with you on this occasion.  This is a huge shame, and I'm really sorry to be breaking bad news to you.
