Age four with my Dad in the Queensland town of Aramac. The Central Western railway line from Rockhampton to Longreach bypassed it, so the locals raised the funds to help the shire build a connection to the main line. The "Aramac Tramway" opened in 1913 and this magnificent railmotor known as "Aunt Emma" was used until the line closed in December 1975. I spent the 1970s exploring railway branch lines like this right across western NSW and Queensland - staying in country pubs or snuggled in Dad's sleeping bag under the stars in a wheat field.
Интересная мысль! Как нищий город-банкрот, можно и попрошайничать. Боимся, что не с нынешней администрацией, которая провалила получение халявных трамваев от правительства РФ.
