Does anyone use a Hantek 4032L logic analyzer and pulseview? I use sigrok/pulseview with a logic analyzer. So far I have had 2 Saleae 8ch/16ch clones. I don't have that much experience with logic analyzers. I was advised to set the Saleae clone to at least four times the clock speed when recording with pulseview in order to detect the start and end of the edges accurately enough. The Hantek 4032L has pins for external clock signals. Do I still need to set the quad speed in sigrok/pulseview? I tested this today on a Z80 chess computer and I don't see any difference when I set the 4 Mhz clockspeed of the Z80 or a higher speed. I connected the Clk pin from the Z80 to the Clk pin from the Hantek 4032L. Does anyone have any experience with this? What setting do I need for the clockspeed in pulseview?
It doesn't matter what analyzer you have. You should always set sampling rate to at least twice than signal frequency that you going to measure. 4 times is better (and more)
