1) Так называют его создатели. Они явно лучше знают что представляет из себя их продукт
2) Он формирует стурктуру приложения - какими модулями пользоваться и как формировать код
3) Он не разрывен от своей структуры

А причем тут он? Модули могут быть выброшены/заменены, да - это вся суть модулей

Тот же вопрос про Vue и react, и там и там весь flow - это создать объект и передать ему div, а дальше уже твой код вызывается из вне

Что тогда для тебя структура?

вьюха - приблуда с кастомными дом элементами, реакт - тупо рендер, которому пофигу что подсунуть.
