We are writing to address recent news about Wirecard AG and your Payoneer card.
Wirecard AG filed for insolvency on June 23, 2020, and this morning the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued temporary restrictions on Wirecard Card Solutions Limited (WCSL), Wirecard AG's subsidiary, freezing all card activity.
Since your Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard is an e-money product issued by Wirecard, this means you cannot receive new payments to the card or withdraw funds using the card. The FCA has taken these preventive measures to protect Wirecard customers like you while they continue their investigation.
Rest assured, however, that this is our top priority and we have been working closely with Payoneer and come up with a solution. Payoneer has advised that any new funds sent to your Payoneer account can be withdrawn to your bank account.
