4,372 NEW DOMESTIC COVID-19 CASES, 276,373 MORE DOSES OF VACCINES ADMINISTERED
From 7 pm July 31th to 6 am August 1st, 2021, Vietnam recorded 4,374 new covid-19 cases, of which:
- 2 cases quarantined on arrival.
- 4,372 domestic cases: Ho Chi Minh city (2.027), Binh Duong (1.415), Long An (318), Dong Nai (262), Hanoi (67), Vinh Long (50), Ba Ria - Vung Tau (46), Hau Giang (37), Ben Tre (32), Kien Giang (24), Phu Yen (22), Tra Vinh (22), An Giang (21), Dong Thap (16), Thanh Hoa (6), Quang Tri (3), Hai Duong (2), Kon Tum (1), Hung Yen (1). Out of these cases, 884 cases were recorded in the community.

As of this morning July 30th 2021, Vietnam has total of 150,060 cases, of which 147,819 cases of local transmission and 2,241 cases quarantined on arrival.
The number of cases recorded from April 27th up to now (the 4th wave) is 146,249 cases, of which 35,960 patients have been recovered.

Death toll: 1,306
Total patients discharged (since the 1st wave): 38.734
Number of patients being treated in ICU: 441
Number of critically ill patients with ECMO: 21
As of July 31th, 2021, a total of 6.203.866 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered. Specifically, 620,611 people have received the full regimen of two doses.
