You will work on projects that will allow you to wear many hats and flex both technical development and collaborative, communication skills. Your main responsibility will be the development and implementation of web applications to create a process for innovation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and architect development work with rest of Dev team to ensure successful execution and delivery
- Participate in improving and refining development processes and workflows
- Help your peers with code review with focus on performance and reliability
- Develop automation culture
- Collaborate with Product Management to plan sprints
- Collaborate with IT Operations to ensure services stability and high uptime
- Help with investigation of software issues causing downtime and/or malfunction
Requirements
- 4+ years professional experience building front and back-end web applications
- Experience with most or all technologies: Python & Django, RDBMS, JS and jQuery, HTML/CSS/LESS, Git
- Experience with following technologies will be a bonus: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, WordPress, Redis, Celery, Jenkins, Sentry, New Relic, Nginx, RabbitMQ, NodeJS
- Focus on task accomplishment and pursuing deadlines
- Ability to prioritise and manage work across multiple related projects
- Experienced in working following Agile development methodologies
- Strong written and communications skills
