A new website, ugolovka.info, published personally identifiable information of people who the authors of the website believe have attended a political opposition rally in Moscow on July 27, 2019, in support of fair and transparent elections into Moscow legislature. The information published includes photographs, full names, and links to personal social media pages of the people depicted on the website. All the data is published without getting the consent of the persons pictured on the site.

According to an independent source, ovdinfo.org, 1373 peaceful protesters were detained, and some were charged with criminal offenses. Publication of such personal information is a form of intimidation that puts anyone depicted on the website into the danger of reprisals and persecution. 

According to the Moscow police, approximately 10,000 people participated in the rally; however, the real number is likely to be three times as much.
