— “We are not going to put additional mines, we are not going to increase sales because that will bring more problems”
— Alrosa moving in a different direction of “less allocation, flexibility with the rules” and company is allowing clients to buy only 55% of allocated goods from July: Agureev
— Alrosa will see a growth in inventories at the end of the year
Impact of trade war between U.S. and China has affected consumer appetite and an increase in tariffs by the U.S. has made Chinese goods more expensive and are impacting production in China
— Demand from Hong Kong, which makes for bulk of sales to China, was down in the first half of 2019
