It reminded me of the Anime "Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor". in it, the worlds population was completely devoid of common sense.
It shouldn't be surprising. many of the new series coming out all have that trait in the story. No one uses common sense. This is a an real life problem in American society today.
