. После Insight показалось, что не так много изменений, но после прочтения Release Notes видно, что добавили достаточно много интересного.

NFS over RDMA. In ONTAP 9.10.1, this configuration is only supported for the NFSv4.0 protocol when used with the Mellanox CX-5 or CX-6 adapter, which provides support for RDMA using version 2 of the RoCE protocol. NIC controllers must have RDMA support (currently A400, A700, and A800).

S3 SnapMirror. Beginning with ONTAP 9.10.1, you can protect buckets in ONTAP S3 object stores using familiar SnapMirror mirroring and backup functionality. In addition, unlike standard SnapMirror, S3 SnapMirror can have non-NetApp destinations.
⁃ S3 audit. You can now audit data and management events in ONTAP S3 environments. S3 audit functionality is similar to existing NAS auditing capabilities, and S3 and NAS auditing can coexist in a cluster

Ransomware protection. Using workload analysis in NAS environments, the anti-ransomware feature alerts about abnormal activity that might indicate a ransomware attack. Anti-ransomware also creates automatic Snapshot backups when an attack is detected, in addition to existing protection from scheduled Snapshot copies.

Ability to non-disruptively move SVMs between clusters. Beginning with ONTAP 9.10.1, cluster administrators can non-disruptively relocate an SVM from a source cluster to a destination cluster to manage capacity and load balancing, or to enable equipment upgrades or data center consolidations. The feature is supported only on AFF arrays in ONTAP 9.10.1.
