Check that variable and give proper scope

Okay if type is not array then it is variable prblm..but generally that error comes up of the scope is not set properly

Can anyone help me to change the format of a date in excel rows without using for each row activity

I have 1lakh records in excel I need to change the format to dd-MMM-yy for now am using for each row activity.. but it takes tym to complete so anyother suggestions to complete soon??
